Omega watches are extremely popular. From the sporty SeaMaster collection to the Speedmaster for pilots to the dressy DeVille and Constellation colections, Omega has a watch for everyone. A friend of mine's Dad was a watchmaker, and my friend says his Dad would always say "A man doesn't need any watch but an Omega". I applaud Omega for celebrating the historical models and for servicing their vintage watches to this day. Rolex could learn a lot from Omega.

Omega is a quality brand now, but from the 1940s through the 1960s Omega was a premier brand. For many years, Omega staked its claim as producing the most accurate wristwatch movements which it cased mostly as Constellations. During this period, Omega's team of timing specialists were horological all-stars and Omega was awarded more chronometer certificates than any other brand (by a wide margin). Calibers such as the 30MM and the 500 series family are among the best movements ever made.
