Luminox makes seriously tough watches. It's no surprise, then, that their watches are worn by and issued to people who work in treacherous, and often times dark, environments. In fact, Luminox became a famous brand in 1994 because it became the standard issue watch to the US Navy Seals. Since then, the US Airforce has also commissioned Luminox watches for their pilots running night time missions. The one thing that really sets Luminox apart from other brands that make tough watches, is that each and every Luminox watch is equipped with a compound that glows continuously for 25 years!
