I've learned as much about watches as can be learned over the past decade. Once conclusion I have firmly drawn is that Jaeger LeCoultre should raise their prices! That's right, JLC should raise the prices for their watches. Not that I want to give free marketing advice, but JLC watches are under valued in the marketplace precisely because their prices cause people to discount the actual quality. "If this watch only costs $12,500, there must be some shortcoming with it. Patek asks $40,000 for their similar watch" is how such a mis-calculated judgement is likely made. The fact is that Jaeger LeCoultre makes their own cases and movements - a bonafide, elite Swiss manufacturer. Jaeger LeCoultre will forever be famous for the Reverso, their all star, art deco inspired creation. The Jaeger LeCoultre Master series timepieces are my favorite model line, many of which models have been discontinued. Jaeger also offers the sporty Compressor line and the Atmos line of clocks. You won't find a nicer watch than a Jaeger LeCoultre.
