Ikepod makes cool watches with a unique flair. Their designer, Marc Newson, has art works at museums all over the world. If Franck Muller watches are art for the wrist, then Ikepods are modern art for the wrist. In late 2003, Ikepod filed for bankruptcy protection in the Swiss court system. Their assets were quickly bought up, but the parent company has neither announced their intentions nor produced any watches. As of late 29006, there are still a few new Ikepods in the marketplace, but supply is rapidly dwindling
