Hublot started the trend of rubber straps on nice watches. Lots has happened at Hublot in 2005. Jean Claude Biver, of Blancpain and Swatch Group fame, joined Hublot as C.E.O., and to his credit is trying to revitalize the brand, concentrating especially in building the USA market. In Spring 2005, the Big Bang model was born. It's a great watch, although it looks almost exactly like an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, especially the JPM rose gold Royal Oak.
