I read that Eberhard was the top selling mechanical watch brand in Italy in 2005. I find that hard to believe. Italians are crazy about watches and knowledgeable too. And, well, in a word: "Rolex"... Italians are particularly crazy for Rolex. But you know what, Eberhard has to be pretty popular in Italy for the rumor (or is it a fact?) to even have gotten started. Eberhard is leaning hard on its Chrono4 in its advertising. The 8 Jours is my favorite model, with white dial and arabic numbers.

TIP: search through our vintage dealers' stock for some great vintage Eberhard watches. For many years Eberhard specialized in chronographs, and you can find vintage Eberhard chronographs for a relative bargain.
